What is the goal of the EOA School Olympic Games project contest?
The purpose of the contest is to help spread Olympic ideals and to clarify these among students as well as providing various opportunities for children to take part in their favorite sports activities.
Who can participate in the contest and what can be gained fromit?
All public schools are expected to participate in the contest. The best projects in each county will be supported by the EOA for the sum of up to 640 Euros.
What to do if you want to participate in the contest?
In order to participate, you have to fill in:
1. the School Olympic Games financing application;
2. the School Olympic Games detailed program, and
3. the School Olympic Games budget.
The documents of the project have to be sent electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org and also as hard copy, to the following address: Estonian Olympic Academy, Rüütli 15, 51007 Tartu, Estonia. The deadlines of the contest will be announced on the EOA website under the information section by the end of each year.
Who assesses the projects?
The projects submitted for the contest will be assessed by the committee chosen by the Board of the Estonian Olympic Academy.
What else to keep in mind?
The EOA organises educational seminars for teachers and recreation workers.
